Our Beginnings
…because He loves me.
Even after years in ministry, our founder, Pastor Debbie Roden, still felt lost, unloved, and burned out on religion; until she heard the message of Grace through the teachings of Joseph Prince. She knew this was the revelation so desperately needed. She learned our righteousness is not based on our works, but on Jesus’ finished work at the cross. Debbie knew she was called to spread this message of Radical Grace and in 2006, she opened Freedom Fellowship Church of Pittsburgh.
Today, we are continuing this mission to teach His people that there’s nothing you can do to make God love you more and nothing you can do to make God love you less. Just as Pastor would always say, “God loves me, because He loves me, because He loves me, because He loves me! Not based on my works but on Jesus’ finished work.”
Our Founders
Debbie & Bob Roden
Pastor Deb and Bob Roden were shining examples of God’s love here on earth. They supported one another fully and fiercely. Together they traveled the globe and raised two daughters who are still serving with their families in the church today. They were married for 42 years before Bob went home to be with the Lord in 2014. Pastor Deb still continued to answer the call of God on her life and ministered the Grace Message until her last day here on earth in 2020. She preached throughout the United States, Indonesia, Ireland, India, and Israel. She truly “blessed our socks off,” and her legacy will live on in the countless hearts and lives she changed through her practical messages of Hope and Grace.
